Families and children are very welcome to Freedom Church. We have dedicated Children’s work provision for children (aged 1-11) during our Sunday morning meetings, and youth work for age 11+.
We want our children to enjoy church, have fun together and get to know Jesus for themselves. Kids aged 3 and upwards stay in our main worship session for the first 2 or 3 songs, and then head out to their specialised kids work provision for the rest of the meeting. Some Sundays we also have a family talk for all ages too. Kids generally move between our different kids and youth groups in line with their school years.
Little Sparks – our creche – is open for parents to take their kids in throughout the service, and is supervised by our team for kids aged 1-3 during the preach.
Ignite is our provision for kids aged 3 to 7.
Ablaze caters for kids aged 7 to 11.
Our Freedom Youth if for young people aged over 11, and the group also now meets regularly on Friday evenings, every other week at Long Lane Independent Methodist Church. For more details, contact Toria Clifton-Brown (email@example.com).
During our Sunday morning kids and youth work, the kids enjoy free play, bible stories, craft activities, games and snacks together.
We aim to provide a safe, welcoming environment, and we have a safeguarding policy in place. All of our kids workers are DBS checked and verified. You can read our Safeguarding Statement via the document below.
